Metallica Black Album
Metallica by Mick Wal, Details the history of the album known variously to fans as "Metallica," "Untitled," or simply "The Black Album," and the role it played in launching Metallica into superstardom.
Metallica (album) - Metallica was the band Metallica's fifth album, released August 12 1991 through Elektra Records. It is also called The Black Album because of its largely black and featureless cover with only the band's logo and a barely visible, coiled snake derived from the Gadsden flag Don't tread on me. Fade to Black (song) - "Fade To Black" is a controversial song by heavy metal band Metallica. The song was recorded for their second album, Ride the Lightning (1984). The Black Album (Jay-Z album) - The Black Album was a 2003 hip hop music album by rapper Jay-Z. It is supposedly his last studio album and has generally been well received by the critics. The Unforgiven (song) - "The Unforgiven" is one of the slower songs on the self-titled album, Metallica (also known as the Black Album). The song was held as an example of Metallica's selling out, and contributes to Metallica's step away from standard heavy metal since 1991.
